About kristin

Kristin Keefe played four years of volleyball at Marymount High School before playing for Stanford University; she was a four-time All-American Outside Hitter and 1991 National Player of the Year. From 1992 through 1996 she was a member of the US Women’s National Team and participated in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She played professionally for three years on the Bud Light Pro 4 Women Beach Volleyball Tour.

This is her fifth season coaching for the Sunshine Volleyball Club. In 2018 and 2019 both of her teams, 15s and 16s, won bronze medals at the Junior Nationals.

Kristin’s coaching philosophy is to create a positive and fun environment for young players. She strives to help her athletes develop solid fundamentals and confidence.

She loves to create connections based on mutual trust and respect with and among her athletes and see their love of the game increase as their skills develop.

Kristin and her husband, Adam, have four children; all three of their daughters have played for Sunshine Volleyball Club. Their youngest, Kerry, is a member of the 18LA team.
