Los Angeles native who grew up in a Hollywood artist community and attended Los Angeles arts magnet schools affiliated with Francis Ford Coppola’s Zoetrope Studios.
Earned a volleyball scholarship to San Diego State University, where he played four years of varsity volleyball and was recognized as an MVP and All-American.
Invited to try out for the USA National Team and later competed professionally on the AVP Tour for two years.
Honored by the San Diego Fire Department with a formal commendation for bravery after helping save two women from a burning apartment building.
Brings extensive coaching experience at the middle school, recreation, and club development levels.
Led a championship-winning All-Star team at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center and has spent the past seven years directing the volleyball program at Pan Pacific Park Recreation Center.
Has overseen the growth of the Pan Pacific volleyball program to more than 220 young female athletes.
Accomplished actor with credits including 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Lincoln Lawyer, Walk of Shame, and a series regular role on Witchblade.
Combines high-level playing experience, leadership, and a passion for mentoring young athletes both on and off the court.

About Eric

Born and raised in an artist complex in Hollywood, California. He attended LA’s magnet schools for the arts taught by Francis Ford Coppola at Zoetrope studios.
While playing Volleyball for San Diego State University, Eric saved two women from a burning apartment fire. Honored by the San Diego Fire Department, he received a formal tribute and commendation for bravery An accomplished athlete and established actor, Eric Etebari has made a significant impact both on and off the court. A standout at Santa Monica High School,[he earned a scholarship and played four years of varsity volleyball at San Diego State University, where he was honored as the MVP and named an All-American. His talent on the court led to an invitation to try out for the USA National Team, and he later took to the AVP tour, competing for two years at a professional level.

Transitioning from player to coach, Eric has dedicated the past several years to developing young athletes. He spent two successful years coaching girls’ volleyball at Emerson Middle School and two more years at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center, where his team Allstar team won the citywide tournament. For the past seven years, he has been at Pan Pacific Park Recreation Center, leading the volleyball program as Director and overseeing its growth to 220 young female athletes.
In addition to his sports career, Eric is a talented actor with a diverse portfolio. He has appeared in well-known films such as “The Lincoln Lawyer,” “Walk of Shame,” and “2 Fast 2 Furious.” He also gained recognition as a series regular on the hit TNT show “Witchblade,” along with numerous guest spots and recurring roles on popular television shows.
