Playing Experience

Played 7 years of club at OJVA with Director Steve Suttich from UCLA, was on the 17-1 team and 18-1 team.
Won regionals on my 16s team
Varsity 2 years of High school and Academic Athlete award both years
First Team All-Conference on SBCC indoor volleyball team and lead the team in Blocks
First Team All-Conference on SBCC beach volleyball team and qualified for State Championships
Committed on Full Scholarship for indoor volleyball at California State University, Northridge – didn’t get to play because transfer credits didn’t roll over properly and issues with compliance
Stayed on beach team but was also ineligible due to credit transfer. Trained the whole year as a redshirt
Currently playing in AVP qualifiers working towards staying in Main Draw, and end goal 2032 Olympics

Coached at SINJIN Beach
Head and only coach of 22 girls at Calvary Christian Middle School and lead team to first ever conference win

About Alexis

Alexis brings a strong background in both indoor and beach volleyball, with more than seven years of club experience at OJVA under UCLA alumnus Steve Suttich. During her playing career, she helped her team win a regional championship, earned the Academic Athlete Award in high school, and was named First Team All-Conference in both indoor and beach volleyball at Santa Barbara City College. She led her indoor team in blocks, qualified for the California Community College State Beach Championships, and later earned a full athletic scholarship to California State University, Northridge. Although NCAA eligibility issues prevented her from competing, she continued training at a high level and is currently competing in AVP qualifiers while pursuing her long-term goal of qualifying for the 2032 Olympic Games.

As a coach, Alexis has spent the past three years serving as both a head and assistant coach at LAVA Volleyball Club, while also coaching beach volleyball at SINJIN Beach. She led the Calvary Christian Middle School girls volleyball program to its first conference victory in school history and has extensive experience providing private instruction for both indoor and beach athletes. Alexis is passionate about helping players develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a competitive mindset while creating a positive environment where every athlete can grow.
