About victoria

I grew up playing all sports & dancing competitively from age 3-11. I began club soccer in middle school for a bit until I watched the 2008 & 2012 Olympics where Misty May Treanor & Kerri Walsh dominated in Beijing & London. I then decided to try volleyball my freshman year of high school &was instantly hooked. I played at Elite volleyball Club in Chatsworth as a Libero/DS & setter. During my senior year of high school to prepare for the college level I began working with a sports performance coach and fell in love with the work off the court.

Following high school, I played at Robert Morris University in Illinois as a Libero/DS & setter sophomore & junior year. I double majored in Allied Health Science & Business Administration; with the goal of pursuing Strength & conditioning coaching. I graduated in April of 2020 & was the Program assistant volleyball coach atLouisville High school for the 2021-2022 season & then began coaching at Sunshine as an assistant later that year.

In July of 2022, I received the opportunity to intern for Pepperdine University’s Sports Performance Program & am currently there working with all of the teams in the weight room & on the court/field agility, change of direction, & Plyo drills, as I’m studying for my CSCS.

During my own training as an athlete, I saw dramatic improvements in my volleyball game as I began working with a sports performance coach & found people often underestimate how incredibly helpful and needed work outside of your sport is to truly thrive.

As a volleyball coach I love helping athletes move better in all aspect of the game, from improving their athletic stance, their jumping & landing mechanics, how they sprint & shuffle to the ball, & their reaction & change of direction movements.

I truly believe great athletes put just as much focus on their weight room & court/field training as they do with their sport specific practice & enjoy seeing athletes perform better than they thought they ever could.
