Rachaelโ€™s coaching philosophy is based on teaching the โ€œwhyโ€ behind all the skills. She believes that knowing the why and playing smarter will lead to more confident players and faster improvement in their skills.

About Rachael

Growing up in Phoenix, Arizona, Rachael Kramer played volleyball at Desert Vista High School. The Thunder were Division 1 State Champions in 2014 and 2015. She went on to play for the University of Florida (2016-2019). Her team won the SEC Championship in 2016, 2017, and 2019; in 2017 they ended their un at the NCAAl Championship as runner-up.

Also in 2017, Rachael was named an AVCA Third Team All-American; she was an honorable mention in 2018 and 2019. She was a four-time All-SEC Volleyball Player and was the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2019. She graduated with a BS in Marketing in 2019 and a masterโ€™s in International Business in 2020. Rachael played one year of professional volleyball in Italy for the A2 team of Megabox, winning the A2 Championship for the 2020-2021 season.

She was selected in September 2021 for the US Womenโ€™s National team, winning the bronze medal at the 2021 Pan American Cup and finishing 4 th in the NORCECA Championship. She coached the Aspire Volleyball club 13s in 2015-2016, the same club she played with in high school. This is her first year of coaching for the Sunshine Volleyball Club.

Rachaelโ€™s coaching philosophy is based on teaching the โ€œwhyโ€ behind all the skills. She believes that knowing the why and playing smarter will lead to more confident players and faster improvement in their skills. She loves making a difference in the lives of young athletes and helping them perform at a higher level. When Rachaelโ€™s not on the volleyball court and has some free time, you might find her curled up with a good book or snuggling with her cat, Mira.
