About nick

Nick Rable played volleyball at El Segundo high School; the Eagles won the CIF tournament his senior year. That same year his Huntington Beach Volleyball Club team finished second in the Open Division at the Junior Olympics. Nick continued playing while attending college and had a first and a second-place finish in the NCAA tournaments. He graduated from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2018 with a BS in Finance.

This is his second-year coaching for the Sunshine Volleyball Club. Last year he coached the 14s; this year he will be coaching the 13s.

Nick’s coaching philosophy is to work hard and not be afraid to make mistakes.

He loves seeing players’ confidence grow and their skills develop over the season and to see them come together as a team.

Nick is once again living in El Segundo and is thinking of adding a cat to the household. He enjoys spending his free time outside, especially on the beach. Volleyball has been instrumental in his life and he says he owes a lot to the sport.
