Kirsten’s coaching philosophy is to focus on the three F’s, Fun, Friends, and Fundamentals. More than anything she believe kids need exposure to haw fun the sport can be, while meeting friend and learning some solid basics about the sport.

She loves the moment when an athlete who has struggled with a skill finally figures it out. “You can almost see the penny drop, as a smile rolls across her face and she asks if she can do it again.”

Kirsten and her husband are raising three athletes; their youngest is in her fourth year of playing with Sunshine.
