Coaching Philosophy

Her coaching philosophy is based on her belief in a very individualized style of coaching. She likes to make connections with the players on a personal level in order to create a strong team environment. Her goal is to make every girl the best volleyball player and person they can be, through a challenging but supportive learning environment.

About Hannah

Hannah Wright was a four-year varsity starter at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, PA. She was named MVP for her team in both her junior and senior years. She helped lead the Patriots to a PCI Championship and a PIAA District 12 title, earning 1st team All-District honors.

Hannah was a finalist for Pennsylvania Gatorade Volleyball Player of the year, a PIAA All-State selection, and was named #1 hitter in the state her senior year. She finished her high school volleyball career with 978 kills and a hitting percentage of .277.

She went on to play Division 1 volleyball at Lehigh University where she was a four year starter, playing OH/RS. Hannah led her team in kills in 2019 and was second in kills in 2018 and 2020. In 2021 she had the highest hitting percentage (.231). During her time at Lehigh she amassed 879 kills, 195 blocks, and 436 digs. She graduated in 2021 with a BS in Psychology and a Master’s of Education in Teaching in 2022.

2022 marks the beginning of her coaching career. She coached the Varsity 1 team at American Martyrs School. Hannah is the assistant coach for the Sunshine Volleyball Club 12 Extreme team and the 14 South Bay team.

Her coaching philosophy is based on her belief in a very individualized style of coaching. Her goal is to make every girl the best volleyball player and person they can be, through a challenging but supportive learning environment.
Hannah loves learning new things and as a first year coach she is excited to be learning as much from the players as they will be learning from her.

She is a second grad teacher at American Martyrs School. She lives with her family and three dogs and in her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors.
