Annabelleโ€™s coaching philosophy is to embrace the process of chasing a 1% improvement every day, both as athletes and human beings, in order to become the best versions of ourselves.

About annabelle

A graduate of Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas, Annabelle Archer was the setter for the Leopards volleyball team from 2015 โ€“ 2018. During those years the team won the district championship three times and were runners-up in the state final twice. In 2017 she was an All-State selectee by the Texas Association of Volleyball Coaches (TAVC) and was named the District 15-5A Setter of the Year.

Annabelle was an Academic All-District and an Academic All-State twice. She was named to the AVCA Under Armour All American watch list and Top 25 Texas Player in the class of 2018. Annabelle was also the setter for her Skyline Juniors volleyball Club team (2016-2018). They had an undefeated season in 2016 and a first-place finish in the Open Division at the Lone Star Classic Qualifier.

Annabelle continued her playing career for four more years at the University of North Carolina. She was an ACC Academic Honor Roll Recipient three times. In 2020 she was named the Tar Heelsโ€™ Most Valuable Player. She won the Cheryl and Ken Williams Award for Excellence in 2021 and was twice named team captain. Annabelle graduated in 2022 with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish.

This will be her first year as a team coach but has four years of coaching experience assisting with the volleyball camps at the University of North Carolina.

Annabelleโ€™s coaching philosophy is to embrace the process of chasing a 1% improvement every day, both as athletes and human beings, in order to become the best versions of ourselves.

She loves that coaching allows her to stay connected to the sport that helped define her and looks forward to passing on everything she has learned over her years of playing.

Family is very important to Annabelle, she lives near her sister, who plays for Pepperdine, and has two brothers at home in Texas. She loves all outdoor sports and is hoping to learn to surf this year. Annabelle also enjoys cooking.
