About Abby

A four-year varsity starter at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, PA, Abby Wright helped the Patriots win three Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) championships. She received all-conference honors in both her junior and senior years. She continued at the libero/DS position at Springfield College (Springfield, MA).

In 2021 The Pride were runners-up in the NEWMAC (New England Womenโ€™s and Menโ€™s Athletic Conference) which earned them an invitation to the D# NCAA Tournament. In her senior year, Abby received the conference All-Sportsmanship Award. She served as an EBoard member for the Student Athlete Leadership Team for three years. She graduated with a double major in Health Sciences and Psychology.

This will be Abbyโ€™s first year as a coach. She is looking forward to helping shape her team into the best athletes, teammates, and women they can be and to assisting them in achieving their goals.

She loves that coaching gives her the opportunity to give back and teach some of the skills she learned from the amazing coaches she has had over her years in the sport.

Abby has two dogs, a Beagle named Rocky and a white Lab named Murphy. Her family enjoys getting together and walking them. She has lived in very different parts of the US, from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts to Texas to California, and spent most of her summers in New Hampshire.
